Help us save lives
We have one of the most challenging and rewarding jobs in medicine. We walk alongside grieving families as we coordinate organ donation for their deceased loved ones. We pay for all costs associated with organ and tissue donation. While Lifesharing does receive federal funding for some clinical expenses, private donations are very much appreciated.

Each gift will be acknowledged by the executive director of Lifesharing. Lifesharing is a division of UC San Diego Health. The easiest way to support our mission is to make a credit card contribution on UC San Diego’s website:

- If you are making a donation in honor or in memory of an individual, you will be able to add the person’s name to the online form.
- If you are making a donation in memory of a donor or in honor of a recipient, you can write the individual’s name in the memo section of the check.
- Please note: Sending checks through the mail is generally not recommended. We suggest you call our office and schedule a time to drop off your check, (619) 543-7225. Ask for our Accounting Department.
