Samuel R. Langley of San Diego, CA spent Christmas Day celebrating with his beloved family, when he suffered a massive heart attack. He died as he lived, surrounded by family. He was 55. Sam was born in Mesa, AZ in December 1961 to H. Dean and Virginia (Ginger) Langley. The family moved to Palm Springs in 1964. Sam graduated in 1980 from Palm Springs High School where he was a member of the tennis team. He began his coaching career at the age of 15. He leaves an incredible legacy through the hundreds of his tennis students and countless people touched through his music. Sam was a family man and loyal and a true friend who would do anything he could to help someone in need. He made friends wherever he went. His sense of humor and impersonations made everyone laugh. All who knew him were touched by something special. He was a joy in all our lives. Sam is survived by his wife (of 27 years), Monique and their children, Jason and Anique who are both in College.
