Lifesharing Is Moving to a New Home in April
We have exciting news to share with you! After 17 years at our current location south of Qualcomm Stadium, Lifesharing and our Tissue Bank are moving together into an amazing new building.
We will continue to be centrally-located in Mission Valley at 7436 Mission Valley Rd., San Diego, 92108 (just north of Friar’s Rd. and east of the 163 Freeway). This will be the first time we’ve been in the same location since our founding in the early seventies.
We’re moving in April, which is very fitting since April is National Donate Life Month. The building has been designed just for us. We’ll be the only tenants. To us, it feels like a reaffirmation of our important mission. A chance to renew our commitment to serve. An opportunity to re-engage partners with space to provide more education always with the goal to save more lives.
You’ll notice we also have a new logo – with the move, it seemed like the perfect time to revisit our identity. Lifesharing’s mission and promise is represented by a wave that rises and falls, guiding the donor families from their lowest point to the crest: turning tragedy into triumph.
As the ocean symbolizes strength, renewal and rebirth, Lifesharing represents the power of life-saving and life-enhancing donations. Our hearts swell for the donors, our heroes, who will always be remembered for their courage and grace. The icon is powerful yet calming much
The logo will be visible from the back of our building to the 200,000 people CalTrans tells us drive by daily on the 163 Freeway.
While the actual building is funded by our parent organization, UC San Diego Health, our donor tributes are possible only with underwriting. View details about the unique naming and recognition opportunities available here.
Thank you for all you do to help us save lives and honor heroes. Please contact Lifesharing with any questions about ways you can help: 619-521-1983
